Arianna's fitting

Arianna's fitting went very well, based on the initial measurements the dress looked already perfect on her. We only made very small adjustments to the shape of the dress. When she tried on the dress with the shoes she'll be wearing we made the final decision on the length of the dress. We allowed the dress to hang for 2 days before hemming. I couldn't wait to see the dress on her, but it's very important to hang it before especially when using heavy weight fabrics. The fabric could stretch and the dress can end up being longer than it was intended to be.

I double checked a few measurements and we inserted the slip made of white tulle which is responsible for the shape of the bottom part of the dress. I inserted a piece of extra tulle to the back, under the train of the dress because of the extra weight of the train. This way when looking at the dress from the side the angle of the bottom part is the same, it stands out the same way at the front and at the back. Arianna looked gorgeous :)
